Nocturnal Delights
Pos Malaysia Berhad always looks for something different and unusual to feature on its stamps. In 2008 it produced six ‘glow-in-the-dark’ stamps featuring nocturnal animals native to Malaysia. The miniature stamp sheet shown here has the slow loris on the RM3 value and the tarsier (RM2).
Magic Moments
Harry Potter is possibly the world’s most popular wizard, and author J.K. Rowling’s fictional character’s exploits have been the subject of many stamp issues. The first book, Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, was published in 1997 and almost immediately the character acquired cult status.

This 2 Rials Ajman single value is part of a stamp series released on December 15, 1968 in honour of gold medallists at the 1968 Summer Olympics in Mexico. This particular stamp is dedicated to the man who won the high jump competition gold medal, Richard ‘Dick’ Fosbury.
Stamps Recognising the Battle with Covid-19
Iran has issued a postage stamp to honour its medical workers battling with the COVID-19 (coronavirus) outbreak in that country. The stamp has the inscription “National Heroes” in English on the lower left of the main image.
