Situated fourteen miles from the coast of France and measuring only 45 square miles, the Island of Jersey is fast becoming a major venue for music performances and festivals. Local artists have plenty of opportunity to showcase their talent as they join star-studded line-ups throughout the year; audiences made up of islanders and visitors enjoy the different musical genres on offer and experience, first hand, the delights of live music. Many festivals, concerts and gigs regularly take place in Jersey and local talent is in abundance. School children are actively encouraged to learn to play a musical instrument and Islanders can continue to look forward to live events throughout the year.
EUROPA
The trade association known as ‘PostEurop’ was formed in 1993 to represent the interests of national postal operators. It has 52 members in 49 countries, uniting them and promoting greater cooperation, sustainable growth and continuous innovation.
Stamps bearing the EUROPA logo have been issued since 1956; a theme is set each year for members to interpret and illustrate on a set of stamps, the purpose being to build awareness of each other’s culture, history and roots. PostEurop is now responsible for the management and tradition of EUROPA stamps and for ensuring the development of the EUROPA tradition.
All our mint/cto products are carefully prepared by our own team and supplied in glassine bags to ensure you receive them in pristine condition.
